TECHNICIAN / INSTALLER
As an industry leader with over 60 years combined experience, ADC is looking to add qualified technician/installer. We provide sales, installation, repair and service of all types of commercial, institutional and industrial door related products for both new construction and existing/retrofit applications. Based in Roanoke, Indiana, ADC has become a highly recognized provider of quality products and service covering Indiana, Southern Michigan and Ohio.

 

Essential Duties
Service work to include diagnosis and repair and/or installation of any of the following:

  • Commercial automatic entrance systems; commercial manual doors and hardware; access control components and systems.

  • Assist all customers with safety evaluation and instruction as required by ANSI.

  • Maintain service vehicle inventory as needed for all work assignments.

 

Qualifications

  • Requires 1 year experience minimum in the automatic door industry, specifically with service and installation experience with Besam, Boon Edam, Dorma, Nabco, and Tormax products.

  • Requires current AAADM certification or candidacy for AAADM certification.

  • Requires experience with repair and installation of automatic swinging, sliding, folding and revolving automatic and manual door systems; manual commercial door hardware including, but not limited to, doors (wood, steel, FRP, etc); frames, door closers; pivots; hinges; exit devices; locks; weatherproof products; access control products.

  • Detail-oriented team player with strong work ethic

  • Requires valid drivers license with good driving record

  • Requires good customer relations and organizational skills

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We provides sales, installation, repair and service of all types of commercial, institutional and industrial door related products for both new construction and existing/retrofit applications. Based in Roanoke, Indiana, ADC has become a highly recognized provider of quality products and service covering Indiana, Southern Michigan and Ohio.

 

Essential Duties

  • Estimate and detail projects.

  • Construct bids from plans and specs.

  • Serve as project manager.

  • Develop customer relations with architects and contractors in service and sales.

  • Calling on commercial/industrial door product end users.

  • Establish PM agreements with new facilities including schools and hospitals.

Qualifications

  • Requires 1 year experience minimum in the automatic door industry.

  • Detail-oriented team player with strong work ethic.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle fast-paced work environment.

  • Knowledge of automatic doors is a must.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Access Control and hardware knowledge is a definite plus.

  • Successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer relations skills.

  • Strong mathematical and mechanical skills required.
